60034-30 regulation. The class IE3 (electric motors with an absorption power 7.5 \u2013 375 kW) is compulsory since 1st January 2015.\u00a0<br \/>Electric motors IE2 are allowed only if equipped with a VSD (inverter), with exception for the smallest motors. For these the regulation will be in force starting from the 1st January 2017.\u00a0<br \/>The regulation IEC 60034-30 is valid for three-phase asynchronous motors with cage rotor and single-speed between 50 and 60 Hz that:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>have a rated power between 0.75 and 375 kW<\/li><li>have a nominal voltage up to 1000 V<\/li><li>have 2, 4 or 6 poles<\/li><li>operate in-line<\/li><li>hey are categorized depending on their functions according to IEC 60034-1, part 6.<\/li><\/ul><p>Included in the regulation are::<\/p><ul><li>motors with flange, feet and\/or shaft those mechanical dimensions don&#8217;t comply with IEC 60072-1<\/li><\/ul><p>EXCLUDED from the regulation are:<\/p><ul><li>with 8 poles<\/li><li>developed only to be used with inverters, in compliance with the IEC
